The mother of the youth who was killed at Edgemeade/Raymond A. Rogers, Jr., School, in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, as well as the young mother of the youth's minor child, were both very satisfied with the settlement reached, after extensive mediation before the Honorable Judge Chasanow, retired Judge of the Court of Appeals. The Law Offices of Addison-Darden, P.C., and the Chicago law firm of Cochran, Cherry, Givens, Smith & Montgomery were also pleased to settle the case for their clients for a “nondisclosable” amount. Celebrating 15 years!
We could not dream of a better way to celebrate the 15th
anniversary of the Law Offices of Addison-Darden than to have
the “The 2003 Trial Lawyers of the Year” award bestowed on us
by the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association (MTLA) at the 2003
President's Dinner on Friday, May 30, 2003, at The Center Club,
100 Light Street, in Baltimore City. It was an exciting and
electrifying night for us as we accepted the beautifully engraved
