PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Mr. Darden is thoroughly familiar with the federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to civil, business, entertainment and commercial matters. Mr. Darden began his legal career over ten years ago. Early in his career, he worked at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Washington, D.C. Over the past several years he has handled a diverse field of cases including business and commercial matters, as well as civil, criminal, local and state matters. He serves as counsel to several business enterprises throughout the Greater Baltimore Area and general counsel to the Anne Arundel County branch of the NAACP. He currently represents the firm as co-bond counsel with Miles & Stockbridge, P.C. for all bond work required by Howard County government.

In recent years he has focused his practice on real estate, business and commercial matters and civil litigation. He has completed numerous continuing legal education courses in the area of real estate transactions and title settlement services sponsored by local and national advanced institutes of learning. He recently submitted a proposal to Howard County, Maryland to handle the Title Settlement Services for the County. His proposal was the successful bid and the contract was awarded to Trinity Title Company, Inc., effective January 1, 2000 for a three (3) year period.

Mr. Darden has also gained a reputation in Anne Arundel County as the proponent of students' and teachers' civil rights. In a recent surge of school bomb-threat cases, he alone was the only counsel to have his client reinstated in the school system after exhausting all remedies and appeals. As a result, many parents have sought and retained his services for representation of their children on related and non-related matters. Both professional and non-professional school personnel have sought his services for various civil and criminal violations.
